I’m Monica Jha, Therapist & Coach
Hey There!
I’m here to help you slow down, tune in, and begin to heal.
My own journey with emotional healing began when I finally stopped running from the pain I’d spent years pushing aside by confronting painful childhood experiences, dysfunctional relationship patterns, and a fractured relationship with myself. The grief I didn’t know how to name, the patterns I couldn’t seem to break, and the quiet disconnection from myself that followed me everywhere I went.
I know what it’s like to try to have it together on the outside, while inside you’re caught in a spiral of self-doubt, emotional shutdown, or overwhelm you can’t get away from. I also know what it takes to come back to yourself, not all at once, but piece by piece, with honesty, care, and deep self-respect.
Through years of inner work, training, and supporting others, I’ve learned that real emotional clarity comes from learning how to listen to your body, your feelings, and the parts of you that were never given space to speak.
Clarity isn’t Found by Avoiding Emotions. It Comes from Moving Through Them.
Whether you're navigating emotional residue from your past, struggling to trust yourself in relationships, or simply tired of avoiding what you know needs your attention, this space is for you.
This work helps to reconnect you with the version of you that’s been buried beneath emotional survival, the part of you that already knows how to feel deeply, choose wisely, and live with clarity and confidence.
This work is for those who are ready to understand their emotions, face discomfort with support, and show up more fully as themselves.
Why I Do This Work
I do this work because I’ve seen how deeply emotions shape our lives, often more than we realize. When emotions aren’t understood or feel hard to manage, people begin to disconnect from themselves. They second-guess their choices, hold back their truth, and move through relationships feeling unsure or misaligned.
Over the years, I’ve seen how emotional clarity changes this. When people learn to stay present with their feelings without shutting down, becoming overwhelmed, or reacting automatically, they gain access to a deeper sense of self-trust. Clarity replaces confusion. Reactions become choices. Relationships become more honest and grounded.
This work matters to me because it helps people return to themselves in a way that is grounded, practical, and real.
Background & Training
I bring over a decade of experience supporting individuals and couples in emotional and relational growth. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in psychology and additional training in coaching, somatic practices, Brainspotting, yoga, and meditation.
While my work through The Emotion Practice is coaching and not therapy, it is informed by a strong clinical foundation and a deep understanding of emotional patterns, nervous system regulation, and relational dynamics.
